General Family Mediation
General Family Mediation involves bringing to the table interested family members when any general dispute or severe tension arises that threatens family unity.
This often involves...
- Sibling disputes
- Parent-child clashes
- Extended family quarrels
Family mediation typically involves small scale disputes between two or more parties that are related. Although they are family, the dispute is not really a “family” dispute as much as it is a personal dispute between blood relations.
As we know, however, unresolved personal tensions can radiate out and eventually affect and disrupt the larger family unit and therefore it is critical that these tensions be addressed while the problem is at this small scale level.
