About Us
Jim Shaul, MA, JD
Jim is a graduate of Creighton Law School and is known for his specialization in High Conflict SADR Mediations. He is one of the most highly trained Mediators in the state. He has helped many families navigate the troubled waters of ongoing parental conflict as well as the legal, financial, and emotional difficulties of divorce.
Jim was trained at the Concord Center and is affiliated with the Nebraska Justice Center, the Douglas County Conciliation Court, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. He is a Fellow of the Heartland College of Mediators, a member of the Nebraska Mediator’s Association and the Tri-County Mediator’s Association. Jim’s Full Credentials (pdf).
Stephanie Shaul, BS
Stephanie serves as a model to educate and encourage both our clients and our staff. She brings her optimistic outlook on life, sunny disposition, and much needed organization skills to our office daily. She was trained in Basic and Family Mediation in 2010. She received Parent Coordination Training in May 2009. Beth Benjamin-Alvarado, BS in Psychology,
MS in International Public Administration
Beth is our bilingual Mediator. She is trained in Basic, Family and High-Conflict/Specialized Alternate Dispute Resolution, Domestic Violence and is an Office of Dispute Resolution Parenting Act Mediator. She has over three years experience in Mediation. Her background includes being a Director of Adult Basic Education Program, a Social Services Worker for HHS and a Family Support Worker for OPS. Beth also teaches our Parenting Classes in both English and Spanish

Shereen Bingham, Ph.D.
Shereen has been mediating in Nebraska since 1997. She is a Professor of Communication at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), where she teaches courses in conflict mediation, interpersonal conflict, and gender issues in communication. Shereen received a Ph.D. in Communication from Purdue University and has been trained in basic mediation, family mediation, victim-offender, group facilitation and the power of dialogue. She co-directed the Difficult Dialogues project at UNO and is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

Jaimee D. Johanning, JD
Jaimee is a licensed attorney and has been practicing family law since 2006. She is a member of the Nebraska Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is trained in Basic and Family Mediation, and is an approved Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution Nebraska Parenting Act Mediator. She also has a background in social work which has assisted her in working with families and conflict.
Jaimee obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas and her Juris Doctor from the University of California-Los Angeles School of Law. Following law school, she practiced family law in Los Angeles, California. In 2009, Jaimee was honored to be named as a Southern California Super Lawyer Rising Star. Jaimee was born and raised in Omaha and returned from California in June 2009 to practice law in Nebraska. Jaimee's Resume (pdf).
